What a great vibe at the Disco on Friday! Great decorations, Music, dancing, food and costumes.
On behalf of the Student Council (led by Mr Pateman),
– Special thanks to our generous, talented school families who donated their amazing lighting resources and services, and also DJ skills!
– Big Thanks to all the parents, and past students who helped with preparing & selling food and drinks, face painting, wrangling the entry/exit door, cleaning up and other jobs thrown their way.
– Thanks to all our fabulous Teachers, teacher aides and Mr H who helped out in lots of different ways throughout the night!
– Extra special thanks to (retiring teacher) Jenny Wood for your unfailing support of the event over the years.
If you/your children had a great time, consider getting involved in organising next year’s one. With a few of the Disco organising group moving on, more people will be needed for Disco 2021. Systems are well set-up. Best way to check out options is to pop along to a PTA/Smart Community meeting (next one is Term 1, 2021).
As well as a fun night, we’ve raised close to $3000.
This is a great result. The bulk of it will add to funds raised for our Hall renovation due to happen in 2021. Maybe even in time for our next Disco (?!?).
