• The draft ERO report is very positive and reflects the high quality teaching and learning that happens at St Martins School. The final report will be available for public release in the next few weeks.

• We reviewed the ‘interim achievement data’ (mid year results) of our Year 4-8 students. The school’s assessment and reporting systems are continually improving and you can be confident that our teachers have their ‘fingers on the pulse’ when it comes to how each and every student is progressing with their learning.

• We’re pleased to welcome Carole Clark as our new staff representative of the Board. Thanks to outgoing staff rep, Bernadette May.

• We discussed our ongoing support for the Whānau group and encourage the organisation of events that engage our Māori community.

• As a BoT we are passionate about building a strong sense of community at our school. Watch this space for another fun community get together in Term 4.
