Dear Parents and Caregivers,
At the beginning of the holidays we shared some information about our new Student Management System (SMS) called Linc-Ed Hero. Hopefully you’ve had a chance to create an account and / or download the app on your phone. If not, please refer to the attached slideshow for more information.
We use this SMS to do a number of in house things like taking the roll, daily notices, collecting assessment, pastoral care and recording learning and behaviour information. It is also a communication portal for parents.
At the moment communication is shared via School Links. However, we will stop using School Links at the end of this month. All emails, newsletters or notifications will be shared via Linc-Ed Hero using Community Notices. Parents and caregivers will be required to set up their own accounts.
If you need any assistance setting up your account or downloading the app, we will be holding some drop in sessions. These will take place in the school hall starting this week:
- Thursday 15th October – 8.30am, 9.00am, 2.45pm
- Friday 16 October – 2.45pm
- Monday 19 October – 8.30am, 9.00am, 2.45pm
- Thursday 22 October – 8.30am
