My name is Kurt Straker, I am a proud parent of two children currently attending St Martins School and have a daughter who will also attend in the future. Given our ongoing future involvement with St Martins, I am invested and motivated to ensure the continued success and direction of our school. As a Chartered Accountant in public practice, I bring strong financial expertise, a commitment to transparent and effective governance, and a genuine interest in supporting the best possible outcomes for all students to thrive in their learning. I enjoy working in a team environment and can translate financial information into everyday language that everyone in the room can more easily comprehend. I think my professional background and skill set can make a positive, practical contribution to the board going forward. I look forward to the opportunity to contribute to the continued success of this great school.
