Learning Support Coordinator – 0.6 FTTE Permanent Position
We are excited to offer a 0.6 permanent Learning Support Coordinator position.
St Martins School | Hato Mātene is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated NZ registered teacher to join our vibrant team. We are committed to creating curiosity for learning and empowering every child to be their best always.
We are looking for an LSC who can foster positive relationships with students, whānau, and staff, and who are enthusiastic about inclusive practice. The successful applicants will bring energy, creativity, and a passion to inspire learners and colleagues alike.
The ideal candidate will:
- Support students

- Supporting schools in early identification of student needs, providing targeted support to individuals or groups, and creating effective transition systems for learners.

- Support for whānau

- Ensuring whānau, and student voice is heard, providing resources and guidance and helping teachers build confidence in working with parents regarding learning support.

- Work with other LSCs

- Work across agencies to build a strong learning support network, developing expertise and a connected community of practice.

- Support the leadership team

- Work with the school leadership team providing regular reporting, advising on staff capability development and helping create shifts towards earlier intervention.
