Policies & Procedures
A school’s policies are its guiding principles, its statements of intent, and the rules and boundaries that provide direction for the Board of Trustees and Principal to work within.
We have policies and procedures about many aspects of school life: road patrol, sun protection, laying a complaint, internet safety, how we deal with head lice, and many many more. These policies and procedures are reviewed and updated regularly. Our policies are hosted by SchoolDocs Ltd, an online policy and procedure service for New Zealand primary and intermediate schools.

To review, or provide feedback on, a policy:
- Go to the SchoolDocs Policies & Procedures website
- Enter the user name (stmartins) and password (huntsbury)
- Follow the link to the relevant policy
- Read the policy
- Click the Policy Review button at the right hand top corner of the page
- Select the reviewer type “Parent”
- Enter your name (optional)
- Submit your ratings and comments
If you don’t have internet access, school office staff can easily provide you with printed copies of the policy and the review form.
