About the Conference

The Interim Reporting Conferences will focus on student achievement within the core areas of learning – numeracy, literacy, inquiry learning, key competencies, and values.

Teachers and students, in partnership, will identify learning needs, next step goals, and pathways for success. During the conference students (with teacher support) will discuss their learning goals, work they are proud of, and next steps in their learning with their parents.

You will also receive a print version of your child’s interim report.

It is very important that students attend their conference.

A creche will run out of the school library from 1.30-5.30pm and then from 6-8pm. The creche is for other siblings you do not wish to take to the conferences. Wendy, a very experienced Teachers Aide, will run the creche.

Parent Participation

The aim of the conference is to share and celebrate your child’s achievement sensitively and help them set future learning goals and develop a sense of personal best.

If you require more detailed information or wish to discuss sensitive issues please make another time to meet with your child’s teacher outside the conference dates.

Our aim is to make the conferences a pleasant and information experience for all. If you have any further questions, please contact either the classroom teachers or Bernadette May.
