We have been advised of a paid NZEI and PPTA Union Meeting that our teachers who are union members are to attend on Wednesday 7th September 2016.

As this meeting is due to start at 1.30pm St Martins School needs to close at lunchtime (12.30pm) on this day to ensure staff have time to make their way to the offsite meeting.

Therefore on Wednesday 7th September, we ask that you make arrangements for your children to be collected at 12.30pm. Please note that Subway lunch orders will not be available on this day.

We apologise for the inconvenience but under section 26 of the Employment Relations Act (ERA) 2000, paid union meetings are an entitlement for all union members.
